Our Mission

Rescue Warriors Corp’s Mission is to save abandoned animals from being euthanized because of no other reason other than someone not wanting them. We are run by volunteers and generous supporters who have provided their time and financial support to help us with our mission. With the amount of work that is needed to be done we are are always challenged by the large expenses we incur to transport, provide medical treatment, and provide food and shelter for the pets we are able to rescue. We are always in need for donations to help us continue our mission. Your support will help us!

Adoption Process

Many unwanted animals are given a second chance through the Rescue Warriors Corp. The adoption process is a fairly easy process. Once you’ve decided to adopt, note the name of the pet you are interested in and visit the adoption application.

Other services included in the adoption fee:

I can't believe that it's approaching a month since Betty White has been adopted. Betty was our very first save at our very first auction in February.

Her first three years of life were lived in a wire bottom cage, sitting in her own waste churning out litter after litter.

Her life has a much brighter future now. She is living in Green Bay Wisconsin with a Chihuahua sister named Cricket and loving parents Julie and Bob.

Cheers to you Betty!

Who Are We

Philosphy We Strive For

Our mission at Rescue Warriors Corp is very simple. We are here to save one dog or one cat at a time until the need to euthanize healthy happy animals does not happen. We rescue from high kill shelters throughout the Midwest region of the United States. We rely solely on foster homes and private donations to care for our animals until they are adopted. We believe just like people, animals deserve the same loving and compassionate care. Just like our husbands did in the military , our hope is that no man , or in this case animal, get left behind!

Our Process

Upon arrival, all animals are spayed/neutered, brought up to date on vaccinations and heartworm testing, and given a thorough exam. Any medical issues are addressed. Before pets are placed up for adoption, they are behaviorally assessed in their foster home.
We do not have a central facility. We rely solely on foster homes. In order to meet a pet, an applicant must fill out an Adoption Application and be an approved adopter.

Team Members

Jessica founded the Corps back in 2012 after volunteering with several local animal rescues. She was introduced to the rescue world while trying to adopt a dog for her family. Through volunteering it opened her eyes to a world she never knew. She has two children who love to help care for their foster dogs & all three of them prefer to foster dogs that most would find a challenge and their favorite part of animal rescue is seeing animals once disguarded being the perfect fit in their now forever home. Jessica works full time for a major medical supplier where she is in senior operations. During her free time she is very involved in her children’s sports activities of baseball, softball, basketball, cheer and football whether she is coaching, a spectator or team mom. Jessica and her children have two dogs who both were rescued, Papi and Glitzy.

Vanessa joined the Corps in 2013 as a foster and was intrigued by the work that was being done. She quickly joined the board to help contribute to making a change in society. Joining the board of directors really opened her eyes about the problems that arise everyday from the overpopulation of dogs, like crowded shelters and high euthanasia rates. Animals have always been a passion of hers and now she lives her dream everyday. Since joining the Corps she has adopted 2 of her fosters which so happen to be pit bull mixes. She adores all dogs, but loves bringing awareness about how great pit bulls truly are.

Jackie has always had a love for animals growing up with dogs, birds and fish. First volunteering at a no kill shelter she decided wanted to do more for animals in need. In 2013 she began fostering with Rescue Warriors. She has a Frenchie named George and two FELV+ kitties Dutchess and Marie.

Kimmy joined Rescue Warriors Corp in December of 2012 as a volunteer. She began capturing photos of adoptable pets at adoption events, transports and rescue functions. Not long after she started fostering for us and really showed us that she was a great asset to our team. She became part of the board of directors and has taken on many tasks with the rescue. She has a huge passion for all animals but ultimately she shares a special connection with pit bull like dogs. She tries to foster mainly pit bulls in hopes that one day she can change the perception of this widely misunderstood breed.

Ashley joined the corps in January 2014 as a foster and wanted to get more involved after she learned the statistic that 1.2 million healthy dogs/puppies are put to sleep each year simply because of overpopulation. She joined the board hoping to educate people the importance of rescuing and spaying/neutering their pets. Ashley has a passion for large breeds and adopted her Mastiff foster, Mister Eugene, in March 2015. Since owning Mister Eugene she has learned the struggle of trying to leave her house drool free. Ashley works full time as an accountant and is working towards getting her CPA.
